It’s the end of Olympus as we know it.

The gods are at their…wit’s end…here at the end of their era—unless the demigods can save them.

Post Picture here.

By John Irvin

Yes, it’s here, the last book in the Percy Jackson spin-off series, Heroes of Olympus, The Blood of Olympus.

And you really do not want to miss out. You don’t know what you’re missing right now, if you haven’t read it yet. Now, listen, here’s the full series link so you can collect the whole batch with just a couple clicks.

In the meantime, I want to say, I think Heroes of Olympus was even better than the Percy Jackson and the Olympians original series. Shh, don’t tell anyone I said that.

I think it’s the larger list of cast members that was added on. Gave the story even more depth than the first series, I think. I still say, Percy and Annabeth are my favorite couple, but I’ve known them longer. I really fell in love with Calypso and was rooting for Leo from the get-go.

If you’ve grabbed the first four books in the series, you need to add this one to the list.

Although, I’m wondering if you haven’t collected the previous volumes. Because I haven’t seen your click-throughs on my Amazon Affiliates analytics. If you’re simply clicking out of my website and typing in the titles into a separate Amazon page…WOW…that’s rude.

Please don’t do that to me, that hurts.

You know all the commissions I make from these affiliate promotions, I’m putting to my team’s Book Tour fundraiser. Without the commissions or anyone’s donations, we won’t be able to take my own published books on tour this Spring.

So yeah, please be thoughtful.

Here’s the book you need:

BLOOD OF OLYMPUS by RICK RIORDAN.

If you’re still on the edge of decision, here’s the brief description from Amazon.

“Though the Greek and Roman crewmembers of the Argo II have made progress in their many quests, they still seem no closer to defeating the earth mother, Gaea. Her giants have risen-all of them-and they’re stronger than ever. They must be stopped before the Feast of Spes, when Gaea plans to have two demigods sacrificed in Athens. She needs their blood-the blood of Olympus-in order to wake.

The demigods are having more frequent visions of a terrible battle at Camp Half-Blood. The Roman legion from Camp Jupiter, led by Octavian, is almost within striking distance. Though it is tempting to take the Athena Parthenos to Athens to use as a secret weapon, the friends know that the huge statue belongs back on Long Island, where it might be able to stop a war between the two camps.

The Athena Parthenos will go west; the Argo II will go east. The gods, still suffering from multiple personality disorder, are useless. How can a handful of young demigods hope to persevere against Gaea’s army of powerful giants? As dangerous as it is to head to Athens, they have no other option. They have sacrificed too much already. And if Gaea wakes, it is game over.”

Do NOT miss out: BLOOD OF OLYMPUS.

Percy and Annabeth have decided to Vacation in Tartarus.

Oh, you know, they’re just a couple of crazy kids in love, right?

By John Irvin

I tell you what, my title is extremely deceiving. House of Hades is so NOT about vacationing in Tartarus. But, the two heroes are meant to trek across the perilous terrain of the Titan’s body.

I did not know Percy Jackson’s tale would get so dark.

I like dark fantasy.

Of course, this is still a Young Adult’s fantasy, but still filled with awesome adventures and harrowing evasions of death.

You do not know who is going to die or what to expect next when you read this book.

If you want to a good surprise, try this fourth installment in the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan.

Y’all, I can’t believe I’m three days from finishing this 90-Day Author’s Assault! And I’m finishing it with by finishing one of my top-favourite series too, so that works out quite well.

Be sure to check the archives for my blog posts to find more treasures I’ve promoted over the past three months. I want to see my readers clicking through to share in these amazing reads.

Believe me, you don’t want to miss out.

Here’s the book you need:

HOUSE OF HADES by RICK RIORDAN.

If you’re still on the edge of decision, here’s the brief description from Amazon.

“At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy’s instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through Gaea’s forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

They have no choice. If the demigods don’t succeed, Gaea’s armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.

This paperback edition will include a never-before-seen short story, “The Crown of Ptolemy,” in which Percy and Annabeth fight alongside Carter and Sadie Kane, and more bonus content!”

Do NOT miss out: HOUSE OF HADES.

When gods do Battle

Roland has made it clear, he means to take Atlanta, steal its power, and kill his daughter, Kate Daniels, in the process, also kidnapping hers and Curran’s child.

By John Irvin

So, the previous nine books were just a set up for this finale. I loved every minute of the ascending build-up. I would not pass up Magic Triumphs if I were you.

I haven’t noticed anyone really clicking through to collect this series and I cannot understand, for the life of me, why. Am I failing at impressing upon you how enjoyable this series is?

I know, I know, you think you don’t have time. Well, believe me when I say, you do have time. If I were a betting man, I’d be willing to bet, you spend more than ten hours a week on social media…just scrolling.

Ten hours.

That’s enough hours to read one of these books in the Kate Daniels series and even have some left over to start the next one! I’m not making that up! I did it.

Several of these books I took on two to three hour long flights and would read the entire time. Even my fellow passengers would be intrigued as they’d never seen someone so involved in a book before!

It’s not that hard!

Okay, okay, I hope I’m not being too hard on you. I just really want you to read these books! This is the finale after all and you’re missing out.

Here’s the book you need:

MAGIC TRIUMPHS by ILONA ANDREWS.

If you’re still on the edge of decision, here’s the brief description from Amazon.

“Kate has come a long way from her origins as a loner taking care of paranormal problems in post-Shift Atlanta. She’s made friends and enemies. She’s found love and started a family with Curran Lennart, the former Beast Lord. But her magic is too strong for the power players of the world to let her be.

Kate and her father, Roland, currently have an uneasy truce, but when he starts testing her defenses again, she knows that sooner or later, a confrontation is inevitable. The Witch Oracle has begun seeing visions of blood, fire, and human bones. And when a mysterious box is delivered to Kate’s doorstep, a threat of war from the ancient enemy who nearly destroyed her family, she knows their time is up.

Kate Daniels sees no other choice but to combine forces with the unlikeliest of allies. She knows betrayal is inevitable. She knows she may not survive the coming battle. But she has to try.

For her child.

For Atlanta.

For the world.”

When You have the Mark of the Goddess of War

Rick Riordan brings us another classic, starring Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, Annabeth Chase, Leo Valdez, and so many other fine heroes in this fast-paced novel.

By John Irvin

I tell you what, there are very few books that have made my heart literally almost stop. I know, that doesn’t sound healthy, but it is a good sign the book is amazing when that happens.

I had no idea what was about to hit when I picked up The Mark of Athena.

I enjoyed the five-book prequel series of Percy Jackson and the first two books in this spin-off series Heroes of Olympus with its new variety of cast members.

But, I did not realize just how jarring and gripping the story would play out to be.

I was tricked! They said it would be a great read! They lied! This is a thrilling and monumental read that will probably change your life, if not mess it up for a little while.

So, do I recommend this third installment in the Heroes of Olympus? YES! A resounding echo YES!

Here’s the book you need:

THE MARK OF ATHENA by RICK RIORDAN.

If you’re still on the edge of decision, here’s the brief description from Amazon.

“In The Son of Neptune, Percy, Hazel, and Frank met in Camp Jupiter, the Roman equivalent of Camp Halfblood, and traveled to the land beyond the gods to complete a dangerous quest. The third book in the Heroes of Olympus series will unite them with Jason, Piper, and Leo. But they number only six–who will complete the Prophecy of Seven?

The Greek and Roman demigods will have to cooperate in order to defeat the giants released by the Earth Mother, Gaea. Then they will have to sail together to the ancient land to find the Doors of Death. What exactly are the Doors of Death? Much of the prophecy remains a mystery. . . .

With old friends and new friends joining forces, a marvelous ship, fearsome foes, and an exotic setting, The Mark of Athena is be another unforgettable adventure by master storyteller Rick Riordan.”

Do NOT miss out: THE MARK OF ATHENA.

Kate and Curran are preparing for a meltdown

Roland is not happy they wed without his guidance, you know how false gods are.

By John Irvin

Things are really heating up between Roland and Kate and Curran knows this. Kate is curious as to what Curran is hiding from her, but he won’t tell her.

I was curious as well.

Everything in Magic Binds shows the underlying plot has thickened so much there’s no way it can go on much longer.

I knew something was happening.

I knew this ninth installment, coming before the finale, would exceed the intensity of the previous books. Things are at the cusp of breaking loose.

The climax is about to arrive and I can feel it.

If you haven’t been collecting these books, why not? It took me a few years to finally decide to try this series out and I’m telling you, I wish I had started earlier.

Such an amazing story! I really want you to join my fangirling and meet Kate and Curran and all the rest!

Here’s the book you need:

MAGIC BINDS by ILONA ANDREWS.

If you’re still on the edge of decision, here’s the brief description from Amazon.

“Kate and the former Beast Lord Curran Lennart are finally making their relationship official. But there are some steep obstacles standing in the way of their walk to the altar.

Kate’s father, Roland, has kidnapped the demigod Saiman and is slowly bleeding him dry in a never-ending bid for power. A Witch Oracle has predicted that if Kate marries the man she loves, Atlanta will burn and she will lose him forever. And the only person Kate can ask for help is long dead.

The odds are impossible. The future is grim.  But Kate Daniels has never been one to play by the rules…”

When Neptune is Poseidon

So, we all know Percy Jackson and from the first book in this series, we know Jason Grace

By John Irvin

The sequel in this spin-off series from the Percy Jackson world and the Olympians brings us the Roman versions of the gods and goddesses.

Jason Grace is the co-praetor to Camp Jupiter.

He is also a demigod like Percy.

Y’all when I started this series, I didn’t expect it to be as great as Percy Jackson and the Olympians! But the first book pulled me in fast.

This second book, The Son of Neptune, did the same exact thing.

Things are getting weirder and weirder. They’re also getting interesting and sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat fantastic!

You really want to collect this sequel series and add it to your bookshelf right next to the first series.

The kids have grown and most are ending their high school days.

Don’t miss out on a thing.

Here’s the book you need:

THE SON OF NEPTUNE by RICK RIORDAN.

If you’re still on the edge of decision, here’s the brief description from Amazon.

“Percy is confused. When he awoke after his long sleep, he didn’t know much more than his name. His brain-fuzz is lingering, even after the wolf Lupa told him he is a demigod and trained him to fight. Somehow Percy managed to make it to the camp for half-bloods, despite the fact that he had to continually kill monsters that, annoyingly, would not stay dead. But the camp doesn’t ring any bells with him.

Hazel is supposed to be dead. When she lived before, she didn’t do a very good job of it. When the Voice took over her mother and commanded Hazel to use her “gift” for an evil purpose, Hazel couldn’t say no. Now, because of her mistake, the future of the world is at risk.

Frank is a klutz. His grandmother claims he is descended from ancient heroes, but he doesn’t even know who his father is. He keeps hoping Apollo will claim him, because the only thing he is good at is archery. His big and bulky physique makes him feel like a clumsy ox, especially in front of Hazel, his closest friend at camp. He trusts her completely-enough, even, to share the secret he holds close to his heart.

Beginning at the “other” camp for half-bloods and extending as far north as the land beyond the gods, this breathtaking second installment in the Heroes of Olympus series introduces new demigods, revives fearsome monsters, and features other remarkable creatures, all of whom are destined to play a part in the most important quest of all: the Prophecy of Seven.”

Do NOT miss out: THE SON OF NEPTUNE.
