In Freedom’s Cause

When you’re a Scot, the pipes call your heart, but Freedom calls everyone who can hear it.

By John Irvin

So last night, my Dad and I finally managed to watch our mutual favorite movie, Braveheart. We like to watch it at least once a year together. The rest of the family doesn’t even care that much for it, so it’s special to me because it’s his and my favorite.

It got me thinking about the book this morning and how I enjoyed reading it. It’s just like the movie, although it took a little longer.

But that’s actually not the one I want to promote today. I started writing this blog, intending to recommend the book, but then decided to go a different route.

The author of Braveheart recently wrote a nonfiction called, Living the Braveheart Life. Randall Wallace is a descendant of the real Sir William Wallace and is responsible for conception of this critically acclaimed film.

I stumbled upon Living the Braveheart Life by accident while surfing Amazon for books related to Braveheart. When I saw this, I knew it would be a good one and ordered it.

After reading it, I bought my dad a copy for Christmas. So, if I’d recommend it to my dad, I’d recommend it to anyone reading.

Here’s the link:

LIVING THE BRAVEHEART LIFE by RANDALL WALLACE.

Now, I will state upfront, this book is directed more toward men. It’s to teach us how to be better men in this postmodern world, using tenements from Braveheart.

But, perhaps women could benefit from it, using it to understand and perceive what the right kind of man should act like? Perhaps.

Either way, if you want a good inspirational and motivational read, this is it.

Do NOT miss out on the urban fantasy thriller: LIVING THE BRAVEHEART LIFE.

Just a note, I have an author team helping me prepare for my debut Spring 2021 Toward the Pacific Book Tour. We greatly desire your support to help us take books out of that good ole comfort zone and find more readers.

The more you are able to donate, the more possible it is for me to take my books on a trip across the continent and grow our reading tribe while promoting books for the public!
