Another fantastic and thrilling dark fantasy adventure with Kate Daniels, the best mercenary there is in Post-Shift Atlanta, Georgia.

Magic and Tech ebb and flow like ocean waves, taking back control then losing it then taking it back from each other.

This second installment was another awesome read that had me up late at night, turning those pages.

Another favorite read of mine from the lore of the classic fairy tale!

This addition to the Disney folklore is a twisted tale of the plot behind the Beauty and the Beast. What if it was Belle’s mother who cursed the Beast?

This is one of those page-turners for me. I saw this book and thought, “Oo Beauty and the Beast, my favorite!” Then I started reading and…I was speechless. Was not expecting that plot twist!

I’m a sucker for all things Beauty and the Beast as I’ve said before. But, like humans do, I tend to tire of favorites and have to spend some time away before my passion for them can be rejuvenated. I think the major twist in this fairy tale kept it more interesting.

Smart, sassy, resourceful, and restless, Belle is always looking for a way of escape, but also longs to explore this strange enchanted land.

Belle’s mother isn’t dead—like in the original story—but went missing some time ago. Belle’s father wishes to remain at their cottage in case his beloved wife ever returns.

Belle barely remembers her mother.

There’s always been questions.

R. A. Salvatore is back with an awesome fury!

Having loved his DemonWars Saga of the First King, I knew my expectations wouldn’t be disappointed.

          I must say, I’m a big fan of R. A. Salvatore. My goal is to collect more of his works, though my focus is on all things related to his world of Corona.

          This dark epic fantasy adventure starts with Aoleyn, an orphan destined for great things.

          In his Salvatore way, the author took me on a journey. I could literally feel the pace of the plot and felt so involved with the thoughts of the characters.

A Different Kind of Mermaid

The Syrena are an interesting aquatic society that have lived at the bottom of the ocean for thousands of years.

          A young adult romantic fantasy: Of Poseidon by Anna Banks.  

          I don’t know about you, but I love mermaids. When there’s a different and unique presentation of that awesome race, you know I’ll enjoy it…most likely!

          When I came across Anna Banks’s Syrena Legacy, I had no idea what I was getting into. I was not disappointed, in fact, I was flipping pages!

          Following along as the great mystery about the ancient origins of the Syrena was one of the most enjoyable times I had. I wish I could forget I read this and read it again.

          You seriously do not want to miss out on this awesome story.

Mytica is a realm being torn apart by gods and mortals

          Y’all, I picked this book off the shelf and started reading the summary. When I discovered the name of the world, Mytica, I had to read the book.

          You see, back in high school, I wrote a short fiction about another dimension where there was this realm called Mytica…

          Weird, right?

          Turns out, this place and that place are NOT the same places.

          But, I loved this book and can’t wait to continue the rest of the series!
