When the Black Out happens, the Old World is No More

This is the first installment of my Shattered series. I’ve come to call the genre a political drama.

A solar flare knocks out the power grid. There’s a chain reaction in a nuclear facility that blows up the entire northeastern seaboard, sending Washington, D.C., to kingdom come.

In the wake of this devastation, a neighbourhood network asserts its authority over the couple of streets on which its members reside.

Naturally, the military and violent gangs attempt to overrun it, but the people stick together and fend off the invaders.

Samuel Turnover is second-in-command of the network and discusses with his leader plans to form a new nation.

Will it go through? Can there really be new nations, free and independent, on the North American continent?

Is the United States of America gone for good?

This series consists of five short novellas and they were actually sparked from a pseudo-future-history article I wrote.

I wrote the article as if I were a historian in the future relating the events of the Black Out the following North American War. Then, friends told me I should write the actually series.

So I did.

The Beginning of a Royal Line

This high fantasy is the first novella in an old series about a family’s generations…

I wrote and published this book years ago, hard to believe. Since then, I’ll be open, I haven’t given it much promotion. That’s more a problem with my focusing on the next project then the next one after that and not giving each book its needed attention after publication.

I published it and decided, if it does well, I’ll write the next several books and publish them.

Well, it’s only sold a few copies and that’s my fault.

So, I’m trying to make up for that today with the book trailer above and this short discussion.

Wilyon is a Clan Chieftain in the nation of Lykaenia. The nation is a very loose territory with pockets of clans being ruled by their on Chiefs. Lykaenia has no sense of itself at the moment.

But, the question proposed to Wilyon has him stumbling through the wilderness contemplating a future for the young nation.

With an invader on their northern border, the Lykaenian council recognises their need for a strong national government and they want a king.

Can Wilyon accept the new crown? Can he begin a new era for his nation? Can he lead his peoples in defense of the kingdom against the invaders?

Depending on the outcome of this story, a dynasty could be formed for Lykaenia.

This story does not take place on the planet Earth by the way.

Each book is planned to bring a new generation onto the stage. Wilyon’s descendents take on the family name of Restour. If you read this book and like it, maybe you’ll find out why they choose that name.

A Prequel to the Dark Fantasy serial called Longevity

Today’s discussion brings you a trailer for the novella prequel to my Longevity series. You remember Longevity? So far, I’ve got Books 1 and 2 in print and Book 3 in ebook. They’re titles are Revelation, Independence, and Wandering.

Today’s story is a prequel ebook novella for the series.

You remember the main character was named Ihon Iraes (pronounced Ian Eraze)? You recall he’s a part of the Wolf-Born Race? A secret race that lives and protects humanity from the backdrop?

You remember their Capital? Sanguiatro, deep in the Highlands of Scotland.

This novella brings a more involved answer to where the origin of not just the Wolf-Born Race, but also the beginning of their archenemies – the Spawn.

Tracking the lineage back to ancient times, we meet Tiras, the seventh son of Japheth, the son of Noah. He is given the Wolf-Seed and travels the nations on a centuries-long life journey.

He is in search of his mate.

By Divine guidance, Tiras is led to Egypt where he meets the Pharaoh Amenemhet. This is before the time of the Hebrews enslavement! Yes, that far back.

Colin is back and so are They

The world’s history has changed so much, someone has returned, ready to usurp the planet.

This is the ninth and second-to-last installment in my flagship series. This is a dark fantasy novella serial that takes us back in time to a Magic-ruled Earth and a different timeline with no Technology, but plenty of mythical monsters and beings.

After the last book’s heart-wrenching episode, this book lets loose a whole new cast of characters on top of our heroes.

Will the Immortals manage to come out of this approaching war with the victory?

Also, I can’t bring it up because it would be a spoiler, if you haven’t read the latest books. But, there is a plot twist at the end of the last book that plays a major role in this book. It was gut-punching when I wrote it.

I even had tears in my eyes when I was editing and rewriting!

So you know it’s good, right?

Today’s trailer and blog is about the seventh installment in my alternate-timeline, historical magic fantasy series. Things have taken a turn for the worse.

Our four Immortals rejoin Sir Iden Falconmist and his Guardian Knights of the Irish Fae on their quest to reclaim all the missing pieces of the Faerie Royal Sceptre of Life.

The next fragment is located in what used to be the South American Amazon River. Now this arid desert world called the Deadlands—because of its undead claim by the former Zombie Apocalypse—is burning to high heaven.

What’s making it burn?

There are clues during a zombie attack late in the night.

Someone or something is controlling the undead minds, giving them more tactics, and lighting the world on fire.

The Story that has been with Me for a Decade!

When your inner creator longs for a different life, a different history.

          The Longevity series has got to be the story of my deepest heart. It all started my sophomore year in college when I turned 20. A friend told me I was 900.

          Since then, I age myself according to that. So, this December, instead of turning 31, I’m turning 911!

          It took a year before I came up with a bullet-point account of my long life. After I graduated, I started coming up with a storyline for a super-long novel.

          The second year, I finally wrote a first draft. Being an amateur writer, I made the mistake of publishing that 510 page first draft novel. I did publish it before I published StarQuest, but I don’t count it as my first novel because of how horrible it was.

          Thankfully, I came to my senses and cancelled the publication. But, there are still copies out there. *facepalm*

          It wasn’t until two years ago, I decided to turn this story into an eight book series. Since then, I’ve written the first four novels—well, I’m not finished with the fourth yet, but close.

          Today’s trailer is about the first book, Revelation, in which my Wolf-Born character discovers his true identity and his origin. He is also sent on a mission on the Second Crusade to assassinate a Rogue Wolf-Born.

          The Wolf-Born are an ancient race. I’ve actually designed a card with interesting facts about the Race.
